I didn't really plan on eating basically vegetarian while in Spain (hello, Spanish ham, I love you) but when you're splitting food with a vegetarian boy it tends to work out that way. When that means olive-oil grilled vegetables, cheese plates, and piles of patatas bravas, though, it's not exactly a hardship. And pimientos de Padrón are always wonderful.
